Lightroom to Photoshop – combining 2 images: REVISED!

I created a tutorial about a year ago in which I combined 2 images, starting with Lightroom and then moving into Photoshop tom create the composite. I decided it was lacking, plus Adobe has made a few significant changes to Photoshop, one being the reworking of the Refine Edge feature and renaming it “Select and Mask”.

Selecting Hair – Masking with Channels

Sometimes the “Select and Mask” function (or the older “Refine Edge”) in Adobe Photoshop doesn’t cut it. Do you find yourself trying to make a selection and mask this way and can’t get good results? Then you should check out this “old-school” technique for creating a selection, using CHANNELS!
